Dearly Beloved,
We thank the Lord for His faithfulness and loving kindness for counting us worthy to witness the eleventh month of the year 2019. It is not too late for God to meet your needs, to meet your expectations for year 2019 and to bear your burden. For the Bible says, “Cast your burden upon the Lord for He cares for you.” 1 Peter 5:7
The Lord Jesus is a burden bearer. In Matthew 11:28, He says “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy-laden and overburdened, and I will cause you to rest. [I will ease and relieve and refresh your souls] (Amplified Bible).
A burden bearer carries and relieves the pain that someone else got from spiritual, physical, emotional, and social problems. A human burden bearer does not know or feel the pain of the other person; they can carry part of the weight but cannot remove the pain totally. The empathetic, all-knowing, and all powerful Lord Jesus knows, feels and He is able to alleviate your pain. Isaiah 53:4-6 says ” Surely He has borne our griefs from sicknesses, weaknesses, and distresses and carried our sorrows and pains, yet we ignorantly considered Him stricken, smitten, and afflicted by God (Amplified Bible).
Whatever your burden is, is it sin, trial, difficulty, or a need? cast it in the prayer of faith on the Lord. No matter how unusual and heavy it may be, His strength and grace and love will sustain you. Surrounded by His almighty arm, upheld by His promises, strengthened by His grace, soothed by His sympathy, and comforted by His Spirit, you shall not sink, for it is written, “Cast your burden on the Lord, and He shall sustain you.”
Blessed be the Lord, who bears our burdens and carries us day by day, even the God Who is our salvation! Psalms 68:19
As the Burden Bearer
He overcame difficulties (Mark 8:1-9). He fed the four thousand
He overcame diseases (Matthew 4:23,24). The Great Physician was never confronted by a sickness He could not heal. No one ever healed multitudes in a moment.
He overcame danger (John 18:4-6). His power at Gethsemane revealed He was omnipotent.
He overcame death (Luke 24:5-8) . Great careers have been terminated by death and the grave, but not the Lord’s. His claims were only confirmed by His death and resurrection. Praise the Lord!
The Lord Jesus Christ is mighty and sympathetic enough
To mend your broken heart- He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. Psalm 147:3
To move mountains of problems from your path- Mark 11:23
To refine your life and make you like Christ each day-Romans 12:1-2
To meet every need you have. He is the great provider-Philippians 4:19
To maintain your soul and keep you eternally secure. No man can pluck you from His hands 1 Thessalonians 5:24
Jesus said, “Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will surely give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” Christ has already borne your burdens on the cross of Calvary.
Prayers:
Thank God for His faithfulness and lovingkindness in this year 2019, the year of His Glory. Thank Him for Jesus; thank Him for the Holy Spirit; thank Him for His Word. Thank Him for caring and sustaining you by His Power.
Father; I confess and forsake my sin, please, Lord let me obtain mercy and forgiveness in Jesus name. Prov 28:13
Father, off load all my burdens and give me peace in Jesus name
