The Month of Fruitfulness
Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” Genesis 1:28 (NKJV)
Prior to the time of God’s visitation to Hannah, everything about her was failure, frustration, bareness, unfruitfulness, stagnation, shame and hopelessness. By the time God completed His goodness in her life, every of her past unhealthy records gave way for a new and glorious testimonies. May the Lord put laughter into your life as He did for Sarah in Jesus name.
God does not only promise us fruitfulness, He promises to protect what we already have. He says, “I will rebuke the devourer.” Our devourer today might be health expenses, home or auto repairs, fire, floods, thieves, job layoffs, high utility bills, etc. We encounter these things at times, but the Lord can keep these drains on our pocket book from afflicting us frequently. The Lord promised that our grapes would not fall before they are ripe for harvest. There shall not be miscarriages in our midst in Jesus name.
To grow in God’s grace, we need Spiritual Fruitfulness. The fruit of the Spirit is the spontaneous work of the Holy Spirit in us (Galatians 5: 22-23). The Spirit produces these character traits that are found in Christ. If we want the fruit of the Spirit to grow in us, we must join our life to His (John 15:4, 5). We must know him, love him, remember him, and imitate him.
Every situation that has despised you and every condition that has debased you unfit in the company of your colleagues, and whatever is covering your glory shall be permanently terminated in your life as September the ninth month of the year brings in new birth and fruitfulness into your life and ministry in Jesus name.
Welcome to September 2017, for the Lord will surely visit you. You will be fruitful, you will multiply and have dominion; and the Lord will place upon you a crown of Glory in Jesus Name Amen.
Yours in the Lord,
Pastor (Dr.) Lillian Haastrup
