Dearly Beloved,
Bless the LORD, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! (Psalms 103:1)
God is our Father through Christ Jesus; and as a father pities his children, so our Lord pities them that fear Him. As a father is concerned for the support and life of his children, so is God concerned for you. An earthly father may be poor, and unable to help his most beloved children; God, your Father, is infinite in riches.
When God remembered Noah, and every other living thing, and all the animals that were with him in the ark, Noah built an altar to the LORD, and took of every clean animal and of every clean bird, and offered burnt offerings on the altar to praise the Lord. In Genesis 8:2, that was his own way of thanking the Almighty God for His mercies.
Hannah’s joy was from within and in the Lord, it could not be taken away, so she proclaimed the glory of the Lord. “No one is holy like the LORD, for there is none besides the Lord, nor is there any rock like our God.” Hannah overlooked the gift (her son), and gratefully praised the Lord the Giver of gifts. Most people forget the Giver and focus on the gift. Our provisions should lead us to the Supreme Provider, the Lord (1 Samuel chapter 2).
Through His grace and glory, and out of his abundant mercy, God has preserved our lives and provided for our needs. Through His love we have His Fullness this year 2016. Therefore, to God our Father, be glory for ever and ever, Amen.
Apostle Paul praised the Lord as he remembered God’s great love and provisions. We need to take stock and recount God’s faithfulness in our lives and praise the Lord. God alone deserves praises from all of us His creation.
Welcome to March 2016, the month of ABUNDANT Praise.
Remain Blessed,
