We thank God who has sustained us from the beginning of this year of His Glory to the tenth month of 2019. The number ten stands for perfection and completion. It is also double five. Five is the number of Grace, therefore, this tenth month, the Lord will be more gracious to us in Jesus name. No wonder, the Lord said in 2 Corinthians 12:9 that, “My Grace is Sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.”

And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace, John 1:16. Our salvation is from the Lord by His grace, not by the works of our hands. The salvation of our souls does not depend on religion, good deeds, obeying the Golden Rule, money, baby baptism, catechism, your family heritage such as “we went with Grandma to church”, self-affliction, church membership, yourself, some mysterious event such as “I saw Jesus at the foot of my bed.” But, Salvation from our sins depend on the grace of God. The Bible says “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. Ephesians 2:8-9.

We also need to have God’s grace for every situation we face in our lives. We need His grace for difficult and good times. In order to bear our burdens or the burdens of others, we need grace from the Lord. We need God’s grace when life is stable or confusing. God’s grace never fail to meet any situation for He gives new, satisfying grace continuously and without interruption.

In other words, the help we get from God will be on time and in time. He meets the need at the right moment. God will never be late. His timing is accurate and sufficient. He comes through in the nick of time.

This pattern is seen over and again in the Scriptures:

When Abraham was ready to sacrifice Isaac, God spoke up and gave Abraham directions,(Genesis 22).
When Moses and the children of Israel were pursued by the Egyptian army and had their backs to the Red Sea, God in His timing parted the waters and guided them to safety (Exodus 14).
On the night before the execution of Mordecai, a sleepless king recalled that Mordecai saved his life and was not rewarded. He was rewarded the next morning (Esther 6).
On the eve of Peter’s execution, the Lord had him freed from prison by an Angel (Acts 12).
God’s timing is always on schedule. For this reason we need to wait on the Lord.
Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain! And he shall bring forth the capstone with shouts of “Grace, Grace to it!” (Zechariah 4:7).

Mountain represents opposition, difficulties, problems and sicknesses. The Lord Jesus used “mountain” in that sense. He said to His disciples, “…If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you” Matthew 17:20.

The faith that removes mountains is the grace that is available from God to remove obstacles and oppositions in our lives and in the work of God.

With the grace of God, difficulties shall be surmounted and we shall be victorious in Jesus name.

Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need, Hebrews 4:16.

Welcome to October 2019, the month of Sufficient Grace. I decree that His GRACE will be more available for you during this month of October and henceforth to perfect all that concerns you in Jesus Name.
