JEHOVAH EL SHADDAI
Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me? Jeremiah 32:27
To God alone be the Glory for bringing us to the month of November 2022. USA observes Thanksgiving in the month of November. We all have every reason to thank the Lord for the bumper harvests of year 2022. If we are able to think, we will be able to count our blessings and name them one by one. Hebrews 13:15 says “Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.” If you want to stay close to the Lord, then, maintain an attitude of praise for Him and what He has done for you. When you count your blessings, it will help you to keep an attitude of gratitude.
November 2022 is the month of Jehovah El Shaddai. El Shaddai is “The OVERPOWERER,” meaning God will do what He purposes to do, overpowering all oppositions. Shaddai is also interpreted as “Sufficient and Mighty,” and God is the “All-sufficient One and the Almighty.” The Almighty is the God who is enough! He is more than sufficient to meet any need.
The Bible says in John1:1-3, “In the beginning was the Word, the Word was with God, the Word was God and the same was with God in the beginning and by Him were all things made and there was nothing made that was not made by Him.” Because He made all things, therefore, He owns everything. Ps.24:1 says, “The earth is the Lords and the fullness thereof.” God’s power and provision, in great compassion, sustains, nourishes, and protects. He takes away weakness and gives strength. He turns lacks in His sufficiency into abundances.
Per adventure, you still have some items on your year 2022 request list that have not received a checked mark, Jeremiah 32:27 says, “Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me? The All-Mighty God, embodied in Jesus Christ, fed thousands from simple provisions. He healed people and cast out demons that tormented them. He worked mighty miracles to assist His people and rescue them. He even raised people from the dead!
What a mighty God we serve, and we need to praise Him. He invites us to call on Him in prayer so He can show us great and mighty things which we cannot comprehend (Jeremiah 33:3). 1 Peter 5:7 (AMP) says “Casting the whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully.”
We can trust Him because He is reliable; He is our solid rock and hiding place, our Savior and protector. The Lord Jesus says in Matthew 11:28 (AMP), “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy-laden and overburdened, and I will cause you to rest. [I will ease and relieve and refresh your souls.]” We are wise to love and trust Him with all our heart, soul, and mind.
PRAYER:
Thank You Lord for You are the All-Sufficient God. Almighty God, Jehovah El Shaddai, please manifest your Almightiness and do the impossible in my life and family in Jesus’ name.
Welcome to the month of November 2022, the month of Jehovah El Shaddai. May the All-Sufficient God proof Himself in your life and situations in Jesus’ name.
Yours in Christ, Pastor Lillian Haastrup
