THE WONDER WORKING GOD
Ex.15:11 says: Who is like unto you oh Lord, among the gods who is like thee? Glorious in holiness, fearful in praises doing wonders?
The Almighty God is a God of Wonder, doing wonders. He is Omnipotent, Omniscience and Omnipresent (Psalm 139).
He is the Creator who was not created, and He is the Beginning and the Ending.
God instantaneously and miraculously created the heavens and the earth out of nothing. This act of creation is only attributed to God Almighty. The first chapter of the first book of the Bible (Genesis) displays God’s wonderful creative glory and power in a mighty way. God is mentioned thirty-two times in thirty-one verses.
I have experienced God to the point that I have come to believe and have the implicit faith that our God can do ALL things. There is nothing our God cannot do.
And He has empowered us to do all things through Christ who strengthens us (Phil. 4:13). Cast your burden upon the Wonder working God through the Lord Jesus Christ, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). The God of Wonders will surprise you for good.
The Lord God did Great Wonders in the lives of the children of Israel by parting the Red Sea and delivered them from King Pharaoh and his hosts. He advanced them in their journey to the promised land (Ex 14). For forty years He fed them with manna from heaven. Moses said in Deuteronomy 29:5: And I have led you forty years in the wilderness. Your clothes have not worn out on you, and your sandals have not worn out on your feet. This is wonderful! At the entrance into the promised land, the God of Wonders parted the river Jordan and brought down the wall of Jericho for the children of Israel to possess the land. The Lord says every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given you, as I said to Moses (Joshua 1:3).
Isaiah 43:19—Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
The wonder working God makes provision for our needs, even in our inadequacies and lacks.
In John 2:1-11 when the mother of Jesus came to Jesus reporting that the wedding wine was finished, but at the appointed time, Jesus requested for water which eventually turned to super wine. All the guests at the wedding were astonished, because the new wine tasted better than the former wine. Trust our wonder working Lord for everything, I mean everything you need. He is able to provide for your needs.
In Matthew 14:15-21: It is the end of the day and the followers of Jesus were tired and hungered. Our wonder working Jesus used a little boy’s lunch to meet the need of that hour. Everyone was miraculously fed having twelve baskets as left over. This is God’s wonderful provision.
Ephesians 3:20-21: Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen. Prayer: Thank you Lord for my past, the present, and the future. The God of Wonders perform wonders in my life today, let there be wonders in my home, wonders in the life of my family, wonders in your Church, and wonders in our nations in the name of Jesus, Amen.
Welcome to the month of November 2016, the month of the THE WONDER WORKING GOD.
