Dearly Beloved,
I will lift up my eyes to the hills– From whence comes my help?
My help comes from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth. Psalm 121:1-2
What we need is help, powerful, constant efficient help. We need that ever present help in time of trouble. What a wonder that we have that help in our God. Our hope is in Jehovah, because our help comes from Him. Help is on the way, and will get to us in due time, for He who do send help to us was never late. Jehovah who created all things is at the top of every emergency; heaven and earth are under His authority, He is a Creator of all creations. Let us be in high praise of our Hope, our Redeemer and our Helper. We are bound to look beyond heaven and earth, but onto Him who made both of them: it is vain to trust the creatures: it is wise to trust the Creator for help, because our help is in the name of the LORD, who made heaven and earth, Psalm 124:8
In John 9 v 1 -7 the Bible tells us of a man who was born blind, Jesus showed up and gave him divine help, that which was missing for 40 years was restored to him in a day. I pray that whatever has been missing in your life, that has not allowed your joy to be full, you will get a restoration in Jesus name.
We are not wrong in acknowledging our helplessness, but we are wrong when we fail to trust in the power of God. We are conquerors in Christ. For God says in Isaiah 41:10 “Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” Our help is in the name of the LORD, Who made heaven and earth.
