Dearly Beloved,
A phenomenon that causes something good and unimaginable to happen or stops something bad from happening can only be done by the Spirit of the Lord. Zechariah 4:6 says “… Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ Says the LORD of hosts. ” The power of God that dwells in a child of God through the Holy Spirit orchestrates divine intervention. The Lord can do” exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,” Ephesians 3:20
David prayed to the Lord on all his journeys as King Saul was pursuing him and said “Hear, O LORD, and have mercy on me; LORD, be my helper!” Then the Lord divinely intervened, Saul and his sons were killed at war, which paved way for David to be installed as king. His song of praise was “You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; You have put off my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness, To the end that my glory may sing praise to You and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks to You forever.” Psalm 30:10-12. This will be your testimony in Jesus’ name. Remember that God’s anger is for a moment and weeping may endure for the night, but your joy will surely come in the morning in Jesus’ name.
This month of April we will be commemorating the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. On the day the Lord was crucified, his disciples were scattered and sorrowful, thinking that was it. But the Power of God intervened, and the Lord Jesus Christ conquered death and He resurrected. The power of God that brought our Lord Jesus Christ back to life is still the same today. And He will intervene and bring joy to your sorrowful situations. He will turn your pain to praises in Jesus name.
When Jesus Christ was ready to ascend to heaven, He told His disciples in Acts 1:8 that they shall receive power through the Holy Spirit to be witnesses from Jerusalem to the whole world. Thereafter, the Power of God intervened in their ministries performing divers kinds of miracles. The Power of the Holy Spirit is still working wonders today. Believe and receive the Power of God for your breakthrough and do exploit for the Lord in Jesus Name.
Prayer: Father, thank you for the past miracles, and various assistance you have given me. Father, I have no power of my own; please don’t abandon me to my problems, intervene and turn my trials to testimony and my pains to praises in Jesus name.
Welcome to April 2019, the month of the Power of Divine Intervention.
Yours in the Lord, Pastor Dr. Lillian Haastrup
