For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power. Colossians 2:9-10

We thank the Lord Jesus Christ for bringing us into the seventh month of the year 2022. Seven is a complete number. In the Bible, seven often symbolizes completion or perfection. God completed His creations in six days with a rest on the seventh day. To complete means to fill to the top: so that nothing shall be wanting, to full measure, fill to the brim.” (BLB Lexicon).

“And you are complete in Christ” means that you are full of Christ; fill to the brim, wanting or lacking nothing in Christ. 2 Peter 1:3 tells us that in Jesus Christ, we have all things that we need to live successfully both Spiritually and Physically.

As a Christian, any success that you may enjoy in life, at Church, in school, or at work is to be traced to the Lord Jesus Christ. Ability to think or reason with clarity, clearness, correctness, and calm come from God. Our health is from Him. God is our source of blessing and strength.

The Lord is the One that blesses the work of our hands, our efforts, our plans, and our tasks. He gives us our abilities so that we might glorify Him. All things come from His hand of blessing.

Paul, David, Isaiah, Paul, John, and James all confirmed this truth.

*Psalm 127:1 (NKJV) -Unless the LORD builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; Unless the LORD guards the city, The watchman stays awake in vain.

*Isaiah 41:10 (NKJV)- Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’

*John 3:27 (NKJV)- John answered and said, “A man can receive nothing unless it has been given to him from heaven.

*James 1:17—Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

*Philippians 4:13—I can do all things through Christ which strengthened me.

*1Timothy 1:12—And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry.

In Philippians 2, Paul acknowledges the Lord’s work in all of us. Philippians 2:13—For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

It is when one ceases to be God-dependent that foolish choices that get one into trouble are made. Therefore, to be complete in Christ and be filled with His abilities, you need to come to Jesus by confessing and renouncing your sins. Ask for the forgiveness of your sins and accept the Lord Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal Savior. For as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name John 1:12.

The promises of God of Completion are Yea and Amen. May the Lord fill your life with love, joy, peace, long suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control in Jesus Name. Welcome to the month of July 2022, the month of Complete in Jesus.
