Dearly Beloved,
To God be the glory for His loving kindness.
“For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power”. Colossians 2:9-10
Here Paul appealed to the Colossians to realize that in Christ dwells all the totality of God, which calls us to live our present life in Christ. This involves not only reliance on the Head, but also participation in the body. In being joined to Christ by the Spirit’s baptizing work, we were so completely united to Him that we experienced not only His death but also His resurrection.
October is the tenth month, which is the month of completion and therefore, “you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power,” in Jesus’ Name.
“For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist”. Colossians 1:16-17
Knowing that Christ is all and in all. We must put our faith in Him so as to perfect all that concerns us.
We are complete in Him. In Him we have everything. Praise the Lord.
– To the ignorant, Christ gives wisdom.
– To the fearful, He gives courage.
– To the proud, He gives humility.
– To the sick and hurting, Jesus gives healing.
– To the poor, He provides for their needs.
– To the addict or captive, our Lord is a Rescuer and Deliverer.
– To the sinner, He provides forgiveness and cleansing.
The ability of Jesus Christ knows no inability.
