For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power. Colossians 2: 9-10
The miracle of salvation, through the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, have brought us into a position of close intimacy with God. This is the kind of intimacy that Jesus enjoyed. The Holy Spirit that indwells us confirms our relationship with Jesus Christ. He bears witness with our spirit. Paul says that when we were saved, we received the spirit of adoption. and we are placed as an adult son into the family of God. A baby cannot walk, speak, make decisions, or draw upon the wealth of the inheritance. Christians, however, can do these things the moment they are saved. We are complete in Him, already full of Christ; fill to the brim, wanting or lacking nothing of Christ. We become a joint-heir with Christ. According to 2 Peter 1:3 “His divine power has given to us all the things which you and I need to live life to the full,” and Ephesians 1: 3 says “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.”

The principal key or secret to living a victorious life in Christ is to know, understand and be fully satisfied with who you are and what you have in Christ. It is also important to claim and ascribe the promises of God delivered to us in His Word. The Bible enjoins us in Matthew 7:7 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.”

The devil can only explore your dissatisfaction and lust to tempt or manipulate you!

There are some things that will hinder us from taking our position in Christ:

Unbelief—Doubt
An un-surrendered heart—rebellion or self-will. Luke 9:23—And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
Unconcern—apathy, discouragement, fatigue, or distractions can hinder our walk with God. Many times, we are so involved in personal activities and pursuits in this life, that we don’t pay attention to the voice of God trying to get through to us.
Unconfessed sin. Psalm 66:18—If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me.
Unfriendly opposition-James 4:7—Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
Unsound attitudes—bitterness, jealousy, and anger. Hebrews 12:15—Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled.
You will always experience inward rest, overflowing joy, and peace that surpass all understanding despite your circumstances if you truly know and deeply believe that you are complete in the Lord. The Lord Jesus loves you completely, unconditionally and infinitely, and has won for you a perfect and permanent victory through His death on the cross and His resurrection from the dead.
