But by the grace of God, I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain, but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.
1 Corinthians 15:10
Thanks be to the Lord for show-casing His greatness in all aspects of our lives. One of the ways He does this is through His Grace which He bestows on His children. Thank God for, without the grace of God, Christians are of men most miserable, because God’s grace affects every facet of our lives.
1 Corinthians 15 verse 10 says “But by the grace of God, I am what I am.”
Grace of God makes us who we are, we can receive nothing from God but by His grace.
Grace affects our past by overcoming the guilt and the wages that our sins have produced. Grace affects our present by giving us the power to enjoy God’s blessings and the grace of God also affects our future by giving us hope. It is impossible to live the Christian life without the grace of God, for without it, there is no Christian life.
Grace means “to bend or stoop in kindness to an inferior; to favor.” Jesus Christ stooped to humanity, leaving the glory place of the adoration of angels to come to the dwelling place of sinful humans that He might suffer and die for our sins. Jesus Christ gave His life to save us from our sin.
In Genesis chapter 6 verse 8, Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. Noah did not work for God’s grace; it was freely given to him by God. God continues today to give us His grace freely. It is God’s grace that is sustaining the whole human race, God giving the saved and the unsaved life and all elements of weather to the good and the bad.
A person can receive the fullness of the grace of God by being saved through salvation. This is by accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. When a person truly gets born again, he begins to live right through the grace and mercy of God. And as we grow in Christ, we gain more victories and become more balanced in our Christian life.
Noah grew in the Lord; he gained a consistent walk with God day by day. Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. May we each day come boldly to the throne of grace and find rest in the Lord (Hebrews 4:16).
