The LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?

The LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? Psalm 27:1

Great is the Lord and greatly to be praised for He is the light and strength of our lives. Rejoice in the Lord because Jesus not only saves or delivers, He delivered Himself to this world as a message of love from His Heavenly Father. The Lord Jesus Christ is the strength of our lives and He cheers, energizes, strengthens, and encourages us too. True joy and peace come from Him and cannot be taken away from us. He is our joy and our strength, Amen. Jesus Christ encourages us in the following passages:

Matthew 11:28—Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Matthew 14:27—But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.

John 16:33—These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. David was a man after God’s own heart, but he had people who tried to destroy him. You may love the Lord very much and be serving Him with all your heart, but you still may have people who try to destroy you or your ministry. David had people who tried to destroy him, but they stumbled and fell. The Lord will continue to fight your battles in Jesus Name..

The Lord will finish what He started in our lives. He is working in our lives even when we don’t realize it. He works through our victories, defeats, joy, and suffering. Jesus in John 15:5 said “I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abides in me, and I in him, the same brings forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.” You and I cannot be victorious and maturing Christians without a close relationship with Jesus Christ. How close are you to the Lord Jesus now?

Exodus 14:14—The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace. The Lord defends and shields us. Psalm 5:11—But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defend them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee. Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. Psalm 33:20—Our soul waited for the Lord: He is our help and our shield. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. Romans 8:35,37

The Lord Jesus gave Himself to be hung and slain on the cross to give us strength through His resurrection.. May the Power that raised our Lord Jesus from death empowers us and lead us into victory.

Welcome to the month of March, 2018, a month you will will receive strength to march forward into victory. I decree a divine empowerment into all you lay your hands in Jesus Name.

Yours in Him,
Pastor (Dr.) Lillian Haastrup.
