We bless God for His grace and mercy for the past seven months. What a Great God we serve.
I welcome you to the month of August, I say, the best has not yet been told about your story. There is a new beginning for you in and through Christ this year. God will take you from obscurity to prominence, from no-where to somewhere great because of His mercies.
The Lord is a Limit Breaker, He has the ability to break the fallow ground and begin a new thing in one’s life. The Bible says in John 1:1-3, “In the beginning was the Word, the Word was with God, the Word was God and the same was with God in the beginning and by him were all things made and there was nothing made that was not made by him.” Now because He made all, therefore He owns all and he can do all things. Psalm 24:1 says, “The earth is the Lords and the fullness thereof.” And then He said in Jeremiah 32:27, He said, I am the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me?”
In Luke 5:4-6 Peter had fished all night and caught nothing. But as soon as Jesus Christ the Limit breaker arrived on the scene matters changed completely. Peter who could not catch any fish all night, but with obedience to the Lord’s command he exceeded his limit and caught a net breaking harvest. Jesus Christ offered him a new beginning by telling him, “…… And Jesus said unto Simon, Fear not; from henceforth thou shalt catch men. In Acts 2 verses 1 to 4 the Bible says, “When the day of Pentecost was fully come.” Suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing, mighty wind…. Peter and the other Apostles received power from the Limit breaker. Peter who denied Jesus Christ started a new beginning and became a powerful and productive evangelist of the Lord Jesus Christ.
In 1 Kings 17:8-16 the widow of Zarephath had only one meal left before the carrier of Limit Breaker arrived on the scene. And the moment Elijah arrived, the last meal became the first. What was absolute poverty suddenly became absolute prosperity, she began to live a new life of abundance.
Joseph had been in prison for more than thirteen years before God, the Limit Breaker stepped in. He was crowned as the second-in-command to Pharaoh in a strange land and began to live a new and better life. This is to tell you that it is never too late for God to do whatever He has decided to do for you. For years the Israelites were in captivity in the land of Egypt, but when God stepped in, they got their deliverance and their new beginning.
Who will the Limit Breaker visit?
“Sow for yourselves righteousness; Reap in mercy; Break up your fallow ground, for it is time to seek the LORD, till He comes and rains righteousness on you. Hosea 10: 12
Prayer: Read Isaiah 43:19 and decree that the door of new things, which creates excitement, delight, joy and rejoicing, open wide unto you in all areas of your life as from today, in Jesus’ Name.
